The famous Ganish Bridge



About 6KM from Aliabad, Ganish is the oldest village in Hunza Valley. At the altitude of 7,500 ft, it is more than 1000 years old village and is considered the first settlement on the ancient Silk Road. Full of rich culture and traditional hospitality Ganish is the site of various ancient watch towers, traditional mosques, religious centres, and a reservoir. The famous KKH passes through the village after making an S-bend and then crosses the Hunza River over a famous bridge known as Ganish Bridge.
